The Best Kept Secret by Kimberla Lawson Roby

The Best-Kept Secret by Kimberla Lawson Roby kept me on the end of my chair the whole time I was reading it. What stood out to me is how much pain is possible when communication is not done with the heart but with the body. Pastor Curtis and his wife, Charlotte, twirl around and around until they are no longer in a marriage with two people. They end up always with other people in their marriage. These friends, relatives share their intimacies until the Black's  marriage is literally a royal mess.

Only God's Power can help Mr. and Mrs. Black to find a way back to one another to help their children, Matthew, Marissa and Alicia feel love and security. I think this process is not going to happen overnight. After all, Rome was not built in a day. Kimberla Roby Lawson wrote a wonderful book. I look forward to reading all of her other books. Until I read the next book my mind will often think about the consequences of my choices. It is easy to make a choice in a matter of minutes. It is difficult to surpass the consequences of the choice. Will Aaron/Donovan appear in the next book? I can only wait and see. I'm dying to know.
