The Beagle and Mr. Flycatcher by Robert Quackenbush

 Picture of book not available.

I've never known much about Charles Darwin. After reading this small book for children, I admire his curiosity. This curiosity is what led him to become a Natural scientist. I am sure a longer book about his travels on the Beagle would seem interesting for my extra knowledge. I liked reading about the different animals and places in this book. For example, the three hundred pound turtles on Galapagos Islands. Any child who likes hearing about finch, fish, ostriches and sea travel will love this book as an adventure experienced through the eyes of Charles Darwin.
