East Coast

E) East Coast
I have never traveled to the West Coast. I hope one day the chance will present itself for me to see the Pacific ocean. I would like to drive by the houses of movie stars in Hollywood too. All of my life I have lived on the East coast. Since I live on this coast, it's been easier to travel up and down it. My life began in Phila. Pa. At some point, my sister moved to North Carolina with her family. I had a chance to visit there. Then, I married. I moved with my husband to his home town in Tennessee. During vacations I have traveled to different parts of Florida many times. I have visited Saint Simons. Saint Simons Island, Ga. When I visited there, Eugenia Price's books were very popular. She was still alive. We were told by a tourist guide that she lived farther back on the island. The guide wouldn't tell us the exact location. The tour guide was a great secret keeper. We couldn't get one little word out of her about how near or far we were to Eugenia Price's house.

We did visit Christ church.  This church is part of the setting  in one or more of her novels. I remember feeling so at peace in that church. It is small. If I remember correctly, we visited the church graveyard behind or beside the church. Much later I hated to hear about the death of Eugenia Price. It was always wonderful to read one of her newly published books.

I have also visited many times Atlantic City. When we would go in the summer, the row of casinos hadn't been built yet. To me the most important place was the Steel Pier. I doubt if it is still there. All the popular singers would make appearances there in the summer. I also loved bringing home salt water taffies.

I could write about far more places on the East coast. It's wiser for me to save those places for another letter in the challenge. I might at some point suffer writer's block during the challenge.
