(Good) Night

Good Night Glitter

N) When The Waltons came on television, I loved to watch that show. The idea of a family living up in the Appalacians seemed nice. I would watch it every Thursday night. I liked Livie. Of course, her Baptist ways could get on my nerves. I liked John and Grandpa a bunch. Grandpa was naturally funny while John was laid back and didn't give a heck what people thought about his ways. I remember one show where he explained his way of believing in God. In so many words John said he didn't need to go to church. He experienced God every time he walked out on the mountain and looked at God's creation. When he did attend church for whatever reason, the whole congregation was shocked. Their shock showed on their faces.

Besides loving the whole family I liked the voices saying goodnight at the end of the show: Good night Jim Bob, good night Mary Elizabeth, good night John Boy and on and on and....until the last light was put out. I guess the best way for me to end is with a good night.

Morning for M

My favorite part of the day is morning. It's like I'm in a whole new world. In this new world I can start something new, finish something old or do both. After all the day has just begun. There are so many hours ahead of me. That's why I'm blissful in the morning. My cat luvs mornings too. She walks faster than she will for any part of the rest of the day. She sits waiting for me to finish my morning rituals: showering, brushing teeth and all the rest. She will always meow more than once. "Meow, meow, meow, hurry up." In her eyes we have places to go and sights to see. Well, good morning. Have a very good one. M
