I knew remunerative but I had no idea that 'assail" meant to overwhelm the mind. Seems like that's a word I can use as I'm constantly assailed!
Some good words here today. The first sentence seemed so sad. What book is that from?
I've heard remunerative and had a vague idea of what it meant but never could have used it.
