Wondrous Words

tap-tap   "A tap-tap is a kind of public transportation in Haiti. It is usually a kind of pickup truck with seats and a hood."


Ou pa bliye means "You are not forgotten."

Both of those are new to me. I think ou pa bliye is probably from French some was since forget is oublier in French.

Tap-tap makes me smile. In Mazatlan Mexico they use golf carts and call them putt-putts.

I did not know either of these! Tip-tap sounds fun...like something from Dr. Suess! I am curious about this book...I do not know nearly enough about Haiti...
